At our junior high schools and senior high schools the culture of bullying and seems to be rampant even though such acts are vehemently frowned upon by authorities if it comes to light
Such culture seems to be very little or have no significant effect at the tertiary levels as peers are seen as adults,however the issue of some cultural bullying often shows up between professors and students mostly at minimal occurrence.
However this culture is very prevalent at the affairs where serious workers are mostly subjected to brutal force and bullying by their superiors. One’s ability to be agile and emotional intelligence is what help one’s survival for a longer period in the corporate world.
Some managers go as far as to cause permanent career damages to individuals who are not able to play their cards well and fall victim to such culture.most employers tend to track employees even after exiting ,with schemes to undermine their career and drag them to ruin
Managers who are seem to be engine of growth turns to drag subordinates who may fall victim to their rule.
Such culture needs to be checked and controlled to allow true reflection of corporate affairs
Human resource managers must take their profession with great care as the success of a business rest on their decision and ensure corporate freedom and respect is maintained at all times to ensure business progress and longevity.
